Episode 1: Scene 1

SCENE 1 (COUNTER-RIFT)

EXT – EARTH: LOW EARTH ORBIT

The scene opens with the camera slowly panning across the lower earth orbit of space; viewing the Earth’s eastern skyline, as sounds of Earth’s electromagnetic field vibrations resonate calmly through the dark expanse.

Jetti (Narrating):

“Nearly a millennia ago, humans lived in a ravaged world under dark principalities controlled by a prince known as Ophis. As a prophecy foretold unraveled, those who followed the sacred writings of the Supreme ruler were drawn out of the Earth Realm and translated into immortality, leaving behind a world destitute of good for the Supreme to unleash his indignation. This was just the beginning of a divine rift that would bring to light an ancient promise that the righteous would shine forth and that their generations to come would be established.”

A disruption in the magnetic field causes the amplitude to rapidly increase and build to an eerie distortion. A blinding flash of light stretches across the galaxy just above the Earths eastern horizon. The light bends around itself, bending the light of the sun with it as it forms a swirling vortex, glowing with fire and lightning. Its gravitational force disrupts the pattern of the universe and stars are unhinged from their fixated orbits. The expanse of the galaxy is blackened and the newly formed wormhole violently shakes the Earth.

EXT - EARTH: EARTH POV

The camera shifts to a ground-level view. The earth shakes violently, buildings collapse. Earth dwellers scatter in fear and audible panic. The camera focuses on the center of the worm hole where two majestic angels are faintly seen standing on a white interstellar cloud. A third entity begins to form into view. One angel has a long bladed illuminated sickle; the second one points to earth, indicating instruction. The angel with the long bladed illuminated sickle cast it down to the earth, creating spider lightning. The camera abruptly shifts before the third entity comes fully into view.

EXT - EARTH: INNER WORMHOLE POV

The wormhole appears as a vast flaming tunnel, lined with swirling interstellar clouds. The camera focuses on the Earth as massive chunks of land begin to tear free. Mortals are drawn skyward into the wormhole. Landmasses tear loose.

EXT – EARTH: EARTH POV

The Camera cuts back to Earth’s ground view. The angels, unseen entity, and mortals disappear into the wormhole’s center. Glacier shaped landmasses are pulled up toward the wormhole with great force. The wormhole collapses with an imploding light, leaving a trail of wispy embers that slowly fizzle out above a darkened Earth.

Scene Transition: The sound of shaking fades. The screen fades to black. The title screen with “Divinity Rift” emerges and the theme track plays.

EXT – UTOPIAN REALM: OVERHEAD VIEW

Scene Transition: The camera shifts to a bird's-eye view and soars over an awe-inspiring landscape: Lush greenery, vibrant flora, and crystal blue waters are visible. The Utopian Realm, formed from the remnants of Earth, suspend conjointly with one another. A clear dome encapsulates the realm. Instead of the sun, a diffused omnipresent light reaches nearly every place. Continued narration reveals the start of a new Kingdom era.

Jetti (Narrating):

“The translated mortals were the first to pass through, drawn beyond the bounds of time and space and into this Utopian Realm. They were called to the Sanctum, where a divine ceremony awaited them: one that would mark the start of a new Kingdom era. It was here that they received their Regency; their appointments sealed by the Supreme Regent Himself and were entrusted with the governance of designated zones across the realms. With their works rewarded and their dominion arrayed, they gathered for a feast: a celebration with the unhindered light of the Supreme shining through them all.”
