SCENE 3 (RadianLX Conference)

EXT – UTOPIAN: GOVERNMENT FACILITIES SPHERE: CONFERENCE BUILDING

Scene Transition: The camera captures Lyra approaching Regent High Trainers Juvodes and Zelyvry, and Regent High Director Nezwen outside of the conference building. The Regents salute near simultaneously as Lyra lifts her hand: each places their open palm at an approximately thirty five degree angle with their middle finger gently touching the side of their mouth, then slides their hand up to their cheekbone as they lower their head for a slight nod. (Complete with a nod, this form of the hierarchy salute shows respect toward equal or higher peers in a hybrid gesture that combines the sign language word for kiss with a salute to the cheek; reflecting the biblical principles of saluting one another and greeting one another with a holy kiss.)

The camera shifts closer to capture the pair of winged angels bowing their heads in unified  reverence as they open the grand double doors and reveal the facility’s regal interior.

INT – UTOPIAN: GOVERNMENT FACILITIES SPHERE: CONFERENCE BUILDING

Setting: The camera pans across the conference facility with the white light of the Utopian Realm illuminating the inside of the building through intricately etched limestone carvings along the roof and interior walls. The floor, walls, and ceiling consist of decorative portions wrapped in three shades of luxurious emerald green marble and gold veins. Modern chairs surround a long conference table at the center of the room.

In a synchronized fashion, the Regents enter the conference room and take their seats around the conference table.

Regent High Director Nezwen settles into a chair near the table's center, beside a communication device with the inscription FlareVox. As he sits, he activates the FlareVox with a subtle hand motion, causing the FlareVox to emit. A sudden tiny spark transforms into a radiant sphere hovering just above the FlareVox surface. Its solar flare-like projections, akin to feathered smoke, wisp outward in soft, golden tendrils, swirling and creating archaic letters that dissolve as quickly as they form. The faint sound of the FlareVox fills the room as the meeting begins.

Regent High Director Nezwen activates the FlareVox run by the RadianLX operating system.

Regent High Director Nezwen: (giving directive)

“FlareVox, open radius for E5-AD7-1”

Radian (FlareVox):“Alden is in radius. Ready to transmit.”

The orb pulsates in sync with the vocal sound waves while also emitting wispy golden tendrils.

Regent High Director Nezwen: (with enthusiasm)

“Begin. High Counselor Alden, it's delightful to be able to communicate with you at such a distance. I never thought I’d see the day when I could call up an immortal being.”

Everyone shares a gentle laugh before Alden responds.

INT - EARTH: REGENT DWELLING SPHERE: ALDEN'S OFFICE

The camera cuts to Regent High Counselor Alden who is sitting next to Regent High Trainers Blilisius and Zenjria, and Regent High Adaptionor Caymril in an eco-modern, minimalist conference room with wood floors and large floor-to-ceiling black-framed windows, offering a view of the woodsy green outdoor landscape. The FlareVox is set on the center of the conference table. The sound of rain is heard above the sound of the FlareVox machine.

Regent High Counselor Alden (starting from a chuckle):

“Good day Regents. Indeed. Nezwen, as director of light engineering, your implementation of tools have provided much help for mortals since our endeavors began 19 years ago.”

INT - UTOPIAN: GOVERNMENT FACILITIES SPHERE: CONFERENCE BUILDING

The camera shifts back to the Utopian conference room as Alden continues speaking.

Regent High Counselor Alden (continuing):

“Much work remains. I am seeing young Earth dwellers mentally struggle to understand and adapt.”

The camera highlights Lyra’s response as she listens; her visage, though smiling, is overcome by a moment of compassionate grief and she turns her head down and to the side. With thoughts processing and her lips faintly pursed, she continues listening.

Regent High Counselor Alden (continuing):

“I do have one that is excelling though. Ulin. And not only so, he’s a great example to others.

Lyra lifts her head, her eyes brighten, and a well-pleased smile returns to her face. Joy is heard throughout the conference rooms.

Regent High Director Nezwen: (with enthusiasm)

“That’s great news!”

Regent High Counselor Lyra (joyfully):

“Wonderful!”

The camera shifts to focus on Zelyvry when she begins speaking and everyone one in the same room turns their attention towards her.

Regent High Trainer Zelyvry (nodding preparing her response):

“I will add also that some of the older orphans, or Riftians, or Rifters, as they call themselves, falter when they are faced with live testing. They could benefit from a more interactive experience”

Everyone in the room is seen giving an overt smile when the comment is made about the youth calling themselves Rifters. Agreeing head nods follow as she concludes.

Regent Technician Nezwen:

“This is precisely why the RadianLX upgrade is beneficial. It not only provides basic communication functions, it is also fully equipped to simulate live trials in designated locations. We’ve integrated luminal synchronization modules that align with the sacred writings for training purposes.”

Regent High Trainer Zelyvry (curiously):

“So these new training simulators will give trainees a practical hands-on approach for remote responsive memory?”

Regent Technician Nezwen (with enthusiasm):

“Precisely."

The Regents exchange thoughtful glances.

Regent High Trainer Blilisius (V.O. through FlareVox):

“I would like to see what the simulations entail first hand."

Regent High Trainer Juvodes (resolute):

“I agree.”

The Regents all nod in agreement.

Regent High Counselor Lyra:

“Before we convene, are there anymore thoughts about RadianLX’s upgrade?”

Regent High Adaptionor Caymril (V.O. through FlareVox):

“Yes.”

Everyone turns their head back to the FlareVox. The camera shifts back to the Earth conference room and focuses on Caymril.

INT - EARTH: REGENT DWELLING SPHERE: ALDEN'S OFFICE

Regent High Adaptionor Caymril (picking up his paper to read a list of programs):

“The RadianLX system was foretold to include programs, such as the Radian Luminal Library, EB (Earth Based) Census, the Lumz Treposia, and the Freight Dispargo. Have these been integrated?”

Regent High Director Nezwen:

“As of right now, the newest drive is also capable of storing all the historical archives, which are being uploaded by the Regent Curator as we meet. The Radian Luminal Library will be accessible soon. The EB Census is being prepared for uploading into the Earth RadianLX drive. An apprentice is working on replacing parts for the Earth based system. The Lumz Treposia and Freight Dispargo will be installed following the replacement. I don't have an update for completion yet.”

The camera shifts to focus on Alden.

Regent High Counselor Alden:

“I am headed in his direction today. I'll check in with him and assess the progress. If there's anything definitive, I will report back.”

INT - UTOPIAN: GOVERNMENT FACILITIES SPHERE: CONFERENCE BUILDING

The camera cuts back to the conference room. All eyes are on Lyra as she brings the meeting to a close.

Regent High Counselor Lyra:

“If there are no objections, we shall proceed.”

Regent High Counselor Alden (V.O. through FlareVox):

“None here.”

Everyone remains quiet for a moment and then Lyra proceeds.

Regent High Counselor Lyra:

“Very well. We shall review the next time we meet”

Lyra stands. Everyone else in the room follows Lyra in standing. Nezwen motions the FlareVox to shut down.

Radian (FlareVox):

“Initiation Delumination.”

The FlareVox Orb flashes away while the Regents begin walking towards the exit. The sound of two majestic angels pulling open the grand double doors breaks the moment of silence. The Utopian realm environment becomes visible.

EXT – UTOPIAN: GOVERNMENT FACILITIES SPHERE: CONFERENCE BUILDING

The Regents begin to part their separate ways. Nezwen turns back to get Lyra's attention and makes one last mention.

Regent High Director Nezwen:

“High Counselor?”

Lyra turns back toward Nezwen and listens with a gracious servitude demeanor.

Regent High Director Nezwen (with heightened energy):

“I’ll be heading over to the Regian Library to assist Dorien (Regent Curator). I'll give you an update on the progress.”

Regent High Counselor Lyra (with a compassionate smile):

"That sounds wonderful, thank you Nezwen.”

As Nezwen begins to walk away, Lyra speaks to draw him back.

Regent High Counselor Lyra (with wise contemplation):

"Nezwen.”

Lyra pulls out a royal purple colored sash. Running her thumb over the fabric, she extends it out; while holding a telling gaze with him.

Regent High Counselor Lyra (with wise contemplation):

"While you are there, when you see Taryn, would you help her with what she's missing?”

Regent High Director Nezwen (smiling with a silent knowing):

"Of course.”

Suddenly, crackles and an electric hum emanate from the dome above. Both Lyra and Nezwen look upward. Electrical sparks dance along the domes exterior surface.

Regent High Counselor Lyra (Calm and unwavering, bothered by the disharmony rather than concern for danger):

“There is interference with the pure light's frequency”

Nezwen exhales and gives a faint confirmation smirk.

Regent Director Nezwen (Confident but attentive):

“I’ll look into that first"

Setting Transition: Nezwen quickly turns to depart and begins to phosition: As he moves, a gentle luminescent ripple, the length of his body, pulses outward, cascading across his white and gold regalia. The edges of his figure dissolve; unraveling into streams of glowing, vapor-like threads. The golden hues linger a moment longer, trailing behind as glowing strands of light fold inward toward a single point, as though his presence is being gently drawn out of the physical realm. The glowing threads fully collapse; and in a breath's span, they reconstruct in front of the Technician building with a subtle pulse of golden light….

EXT – UTOPIAN: GOVERNMENT FACILITIES SPHERE: PHOSPLEX

Setting Transition Continued: …The limestone facade and glass panels of the structure rise behind him. Greenery accents the architectural lines. The final traces of glowing threads fade, leaving Nezwen fully solidified. Unfazed, he continues his stride as though he had been walking the whole time. Suddenly, the focus shifts upward to the dome above, where the sparking light flares in irregular bursts. The sparks spread, streaking along the dome’s curve. The camera tightens on the sparking arcs as they fracture and the image begins to morph. ...
